Description of vicinity: Pension Filip is situated to the calm area in the vicinity of Prague Castle and is surrounded with a large glamorous garden. Short distance away there is one of the famous Prague parks named Petřín with an outlook-tower, planetarium or labyrinth and smaller shops and restaurants. The way to the town centre as well as to the big shopping centre takes about 15 minutes by public transport.

Suggestions for hikes: Pension Filip is an exellent home location for many different kind of trips. There is the Prague Castle and another sights nearby as well as the large park Petřín. Through this park it is possible to go for walk to the Old town or get closer to the town centre. Pension Filip is available by car or public transport, so the guest can make trips around the Prague and than have a rest in a calm place not far from the town centre. Even the trips out of Prague are not difficult because there is a very good connection to bus and railway stations.

Recommended travel route by bus: Bus 217 from Anděl (metro line B ? the yellow one) or from Dejvická (metro line A ? the green one) to the stop Hybšmanka, which is in the immediate vicinity of Pension Filip. Bus 176 from Karlovo náměstí (metro line B) to the stop Stadion Strahov, which is about 200 metres far from Pension Filip. The way by bus 217 as well as 176 takes 15 minutes.

Recommended travel route by car: The most important and marked outstanding point is a big Stadion Strahov. Pension Filip is about 300 metres from this stadion.
